Ok, about the name
Derp Dog's namesake came to be as tribute to my toothless and tongue slagging Chihuahua of nearly 17 years who was often greeted by friends, family, and strangers with a friendly “Hey, Derp!”
Why we exist
Our film company is dedicated to creating feature and documentary content that explores the human condition and brings awareness to the social injustices of our time, with a splash of historical perspective intertwined.
We are equally dedicated to providing work, and talent development opportunities for all who are hungry to tell their own stories in a rapidly changing media landscape, especially those from marginalized communities.
Some might accuse this Dog of being woke. Our answer is simple – you betcha.
